Discovering Ontario’s jewels with Mark Forrest

We are excited to introduce you to our new Club APRIL Marine Jet Ski Ambassado, Mark Forrest!

Mark is the creator of the popular YouTube channel entitled “Mark Forrest Adventures” where he brings his viewers along with him on his PWC to explore the exciting waterways and the hidden gems that Mark has discovered on his explorations throughout the lakes and rivers in Ontario.

Mark grew up on the shores of Georgian Bay, spending his summers at the cottage enjoying the waters around the Owen Sound area. He discovered his love of the water at a young age during his family boating trips, but like most boaters, Mark did not travel far from the area around his cottage. The time and effort to trailer the boat around to other lakes seemed like a lot of work in those early days.

Mark grew up enjoying the boating life however; the turning point from him was when he saw his first PWC. He immediately fell in love with the concept of freedom that a boat like this could provide. His dream to be on the water and explore all the lakes, rivers and bays that lay just beyond his reach was now a possibility.

Two models and several years into his Jet Ski obsession, Sea Doo put out their new GTX model with the all new ST3 Hull. This unit was built to explore, with safety and stability that was far beyond previous models. Mark was ecstatic and he bought the new GTX. This is when his life changed and the adventures really began!

Mark had never dreamed of being an Ambassador for Club APRIL Marine or being a YouTube influencer, he simply started to film his trips as a way to remember all the amazing places he had been. He then discovered the drone technology to capture the essence and beauty of the waterways. The next step was to create his YouTube Channel aptly entitled “Mark Forrest Adventures”, to share ideas and inspire others that wanted to explore by jet ski. After that there was no turning back for Mark – the movement had begun and Mark was leading the pack in Ontario.

Unwilling to keep his wealth of knowledge to himself, Mark expanded his solo trips into group rides, for locals and tourists, to share his passion and show others his favourite places to explore, and how to safely navigate the waters they are riding. His day trips expanded to overnight trip and then to weekend trips including fishing as part of the adventure.

Sharing the passion and knowledge does stop on the water or on his YouTube channel, Mark can also be found on stage as a regular presenter at the Toronto International Boat Show, where he has become recognized as an expert in PWC adventures and all things related to finding that next amazing trip on the water by PWC.

Now, into his seventh YouTube season this spring, Mark continues to explore new frontiers and film his adventures to share online with his followers and as well in person. So, if you see Mark out on the water or at a show, be sure to say hi because he loves to make new friends and share his passion of exploring by PWC and learn more hidden gems we have in magnificent waterways throughout Ontario.

We are extremely fortunate to have Mark join the Club April Marine team as a local ambassador in Ontario for the Jet Ski life, and we are looking forward to doing group PWC rides with our members of Club APRIL Marine in Ontario this summer.
