Evaluating a boat’s market value
Evaluating a boat’s market value
Before buying or selling a boat, it pays to know its real market value. We can help. Simply answer a few basic questions about the boat (year and model, past accidents, etc.) in a 20-minute phone call with one of our experts. They’ll determine a reasonable value and send you an email with all the relevant information. That way, you can be sure you’re working with the right price and won’t lose money needlessly. Note: These estimates are not valid for insurance purposes.
Be sure to have on hand when you call:
- Description of the boat: Length, manufacturer, model, year, beam (width), hull material, etc.
- Description of the motor: Type, number of motors, HP of each motor, manufacturer, year, number of hours on motor, if used in salt water, etc.
- Description of the trailer: Length, manufacturer, model, year, number of axles, capacity, etc.
- Extras: Autopilot, radar, GPS, air conditioning, etc.
