PWC Ride – 2017 Edition

On Saturday, July 22th, Club APRIL Marine (formerly the RPQ) held its annual PWC ride. More than 60 participants from across the greater Quebec City and Montreal regions headed over to Lake Saint-François for an incredible day. A big part of our mission at Club APRIL Marine is bringing jet skiers together and promoting water sports, and we were proud to offer thrill-seekers this free day of fun out on the water.

For the occasion, Club APRIL Marine had plenty of surprises in store for participants: lunch on the water, giveaways of sports towels, bags and waterproof phone cases, free copies of its French-language PLAISANCE magazine, along with an evening BBQ and much more.

The day’s proceedings

8 – 9 am: Welcoming participants at the Port-Lewis marina with a hot coffee
10 am: Hopping on the PWC and heading out for the first thrill of the day
12 – 1 pm: Free lunch on the water at Des Brises bay, courtesy of Club APRIL Marine
1 pm: Ride resumes
3 pm: End of the ride and return to the Port-Lewis marina, followed by a mouth-watering BBQ dinner for all

“We want to thank all the participants as well as our partners, without whom this wonderful day would not have been the same! It filled us with immense pride to see so many PWC out on the water over the course of the day. Friendly thrills and good times were had by all!”

Our thanks also go out to the Port-Lewis marina for its warm welcome and for organizing the free BBQ, the city of Saint-Zotique for welcoming us with open arms, the Club Motomarine Montréal jet ski club for helping us to organize the event, and APRIL Marine Insurance, which awarded one lucky participant one year of free insurance.
