An unforgettable summer with Club APRIL Marine

Our events for summer 2024
October 22, 2024
It’s time to look back at the highlights of this exceptional summer. With landmark events in Quebec and Ontario, we have once again affirmed our commitment to the boating community and strengthened our relationships with our members, partners and ambassadors. Here’s a look back at a season rich in discovery, adventure, competition and ecological initiatives.
PWC Rides
A successful eighth edition in Quebec
The season got off to a great start with our traditional and emblematic “PWC Ride”, a Club APRIL Marine flagship event that attracts a large number of watersports enthusiasts every year. Despite fickle winds, the enthusiasm and conviviality were palpable throughout the day. Participants enjoyed a breathtaking course under radiant sky, making this year’s event a real success. This annual event is now firmly rooted in our traditions, and we’re proud to have had you join us to celebrate the eighth edition in Quebec.
A first edition in Ontario
After eight successful editions in Quebec, Club APRIL Marine has crossed the Quebec border for the first time to organize a personal watercraft ride in the magnificent Thousand Islands region of Ontario. On September 15, 2024, 25 participants explored this exotic region under the guidance of our ambassador Mark Forest.

These outings embody the spirit of Club APRIL Marine: conviviality, sharing and a passion for boating.
Fishing tournaments: ever more popular competitions
The popularity of fishing tournaments continues to grow year after year. In partnership with BigBass Québec, we organized two major events. The first, a family tournament in Quebec, brought together some 100 families and fishing enthusiasts in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The second, a competitive tournament at Lac St-François in Ontario, marked a first for Club APRIL Marine in this region. With over 30 teams registered, the September 14 tournament was a real success.

These competitions have become unmissable for fishing enthusiasts.
Waste collection: a tireless environmental commitment
Protecting the environment remains a priority for Club APRIL Marine. This year, we renewed our commitment by taking part in several waste collections in collaboration with Mission 1000 Tonnes. Whether in Quebec or Ontario, these initiatives raised awareness among our members and partners of the need to protect our marine ecosystems. On September 17, we closed the season with a collection in Cornwall, Ontario, alongside our MLS broker partners. Thanks to these joint efforts, several tonnes of litter were collected, a powerful gesture for the preservation of our waterways.

Exclusive events with our partners: Sailing and meetings
In addition to our events for members, Club APRIL Marine also organized activities dedicated to our partners. In June, we celebrated the women’s initiative of the Coupe Femina, a 100% women’s sporting event, demonstrating our commitment to inclusive and inspiring initiatives. On September 11, a sailing outing to the Port of Quebec, in partnership with Taillon Assurances, offered a memorable evening aboard the sailboat Adrénaline, with a view of the Frontenac Castle. Finally, our catamaran initiation with our sailing ambassador Olivier Pilon brought our employees together in a relaxed atmosphere, strengthening our ties for the future.
This 2024 season was marked by the expansion of our activities and an unprecedented commitment to the environment. Club APRIL Marine, in partnership with its members, ambassadors and partners, continues to assert its place in the yachting ecosystem, both in Quebec and Ontario. We’d like to extend our warmest thanks to all those who have played a part in our adventure, and all those who have watched, for their support throughout each season. We look forward to seeing you in 2025 for new and even more exciting nautical events.
See you next year on the water!
